Very 1st proper outing for my new build bike - the morning following the Ubley beer festival!!!

Following Ian & Neroli's now famous bacon butties, and a slow and incomplete recovery from the night's excesses and only 4 hrs sleep, we parked up at The Swan and sallied forth & fifth into the woods.

I can't say it was a classic ride due to a) the remnants of a chest infection, b) alcoholic haze, and c) an extremely different feeling bike. I feel like I'm perched about a foot higher than on my old bike, which is a bit intimidating on the very steep & sketchy descents. It's just going to take a little getting used to.

The good news is that I felt better after the ride than before it!
